Kick ass production and an almost magical sounding quality make this record of the year.

The Record of the Year is really supposed to reward how a great song was put together. It’s an award for the artist and the engineers. Coldplay earns this award with the multiple moving parts that make up “Clocks.”

Coming in, you would have to think that Coldplay is a favorite for the award but I think this will be Marshall Mather's year. He has been so close in the past, pnly to be passed over that this just feels like the year that Eminem wins the big ones.
