| We recently had a chance
to sit down with Jiro and Will-Dog, two members from the great
so-Cal group, Ozomatli. Their last CD, Street Signs, won
the group its second Grammy, and now its time for the band to
head back into the studio to record the follow up. We talked to
the band guys before their sold out show at the Paradise. Give
a Listen* as the band talks about being arrested,
playing Bonarroo, as well as the follow up to Street Signs.

1.
You end every show with a drum circle, into a congo line. How
did that start?
2.
The drum circle got you in trouble last year though, as you were
arrested after your performance as part of the South by Southwest
Music Festival.
3.
With so many members, how do knew songs come about?
4.
Are you looking forward to playing the Bonarroo festival?
5.
Your music has been in a lot of outside ventures. How do you license
the music out?
6.
Do you have a lot of stuff written for the new disc which you
will be recording in the upcoming weeks?
7.
What are some of the bands that influences Ozomatli?
8.
What are some of the stuff you are listening to now?
9.
A lot of big releases have been leaked to the Internet early.
What are your thoughts about that, or people downloading your
music illegally?
I want to thank Jiro and Will-Dog for taking the time to talk
with me. It was great getting a chance to chat before the show
and they really blow you away live. Without a doubt, we are looking
forward to catching them again live. Keep your eye up for when
they come to your town.
